O my God, Thou knowest I have never desired but to love Thee alone. I seek no other glory. Thy Love has gone before me from my childhood, it has grown with my growth, and now it is an abyss the depths of which I cannot fathom. -St. Therese

A Baptism at Easter Vigil
Fr. Tom Miller baptizing my grandson at Easter Vigil 2013 at Immaculate Heart of Mary, Archdiocese St. Louis, MO.
Myhusband and i adopted a 12 year old girl from foster care last January and then she turned 13 on march 3rd.We then baptized her as an infant along with the other infants at easter vigil. For the ceremony,we dressed her as a regular baby girl in a white, poofy, short sleeve, top of the knees dress with a matching bonnet, white tights and white mary jane shoes.we did a cloth diaper and adult size rubberpants under the tights with a white tee shirt as her top.she had a pacifier attached to the front of her dress and i picked her up and held like an infant to recieve the water on her head.she enterted gods kingdom that day as a baby girl!
