Shucking Corn (and prayer without ceasing) Tip #1

Sacred Scripture tells us to pray without ceasing (I Thessalonians 5:17). Is it really possible to be in prayer every sixty seconds of every sixty minutes of every hour of a twenty-four hour day?

Only if you have a creative and persistent spirit.

Did you know that you can pray precisely one Our Father in the amount of time it takes to schuck an ear of corn?

Rather than let your mind go off to worries or daydreams or lyrics to a song or all the things you should have said or should have done yesterday - try saying one Our Father with every ear of corn that you prepare for tonight's meal.
